Wilmington Featured Venue: Whispering Hearts
It’s May and that means wedding season is in full effect! I have some exciting news for upcoming Clinton County Brides and the surrounding area!
Clinton County has been blessed with a beautiful new venue to start this 2023 wedding season and we are here for it. I could not wait to tour this beautiful venue and learn more about it.
Whispering Hearts Event Center is one of the most beautiful venues available for the peace seeking, loving couples of Clinton County and southwestern Ohio.
As I was pulling into the venue, down a beautiful, blacktopped lane, I remember being in awe of the beauty. The photos I share below do not do it justice and you will want to see it for yourself.
Just behind the venue is a pergola with a large concrete area among beautiful landscape which is available for the wedding ceremony. A tranquil backwater offers fine views of the pond which makes the picture-perfect backdrop.
A beautiful modern patio, with a bar area included, hosts a cocktail hour. No worries of moving tables and chairs for you or your guests as the venue happily provides the set up and tear down for each event during your day.

Whispering Hearts Event Center is a semi-inclusive wedding venue. What exactly does that mean? That means you get the best of both worlds! When you rent the venue, you get the venue, tables, chairs, a bridal suite and the groom’s lounge but you also get to pick and bring all your own vendors for no additional charge. However, the staff are happy to provide you with a very helpful preferred vendors list.
Extras
AC & Heat are available if the weather is cool/warm. The staff is also prepared to setup the ceremony or cocktail hour inside in the case of bad weather. The best news? There are no restrictions regarding vendors, children, animals, sound, decor, lighting, dress code, etc.
And…The rehearsal is included for no additional charge.
Rental of the wedding venue also includes access to the grooms lounge, a nature-inspired, outdoor cabin. The cabin area apart from the venue but also within close proximity. The men like having their own space and this space was well thought out just for the guys!
Additionally, the property has a spacious four-bedroom house (sleeps 14) with 3 full and 2 half baths and a fully equipped kitchen, that is available to rent. Cha-ching! The house offers an additional dressing room area for the wedding party. It also includes a swimming pool. The home is a must-see and within close proximity to the venue to make for the perfect wedding night rental for the bride and groom as well.

Booking
The wedding venue at Whispering Hearts Event Center will book up quickly. It is generally recommended that you book 1-2 years in advance of your date, but if you have flexibility for a Friday or Sunday wedding then there may be more availability!
