What to Expect

Our DJ’s know their job is to bring the energy! They dance, sing, lead line dances, know how to read the crowd with music selections, stay engaged with your guests, MC and DJ to your style and preferences.

We understand that energy is contagious. We know that if your DJ is looks bored behind the booth, your guests may also be bored. Also, when you are at an event where the DJ is totally emerged in the music and the sound is moving your body, that energy comes across the crowd as waves of joy and positive vibes.

For this reason, each DJ comes with an assistant. The assistant’s priority is to help the DJ, tend to the bride, and oversee the timeline. This allows our DJ to be primarily connected to each moment with music and staying engaged with your guests.

You see, to us, DJ’ing has always been about more than playing music. It’s about connections, memories, presence and having fun. We’re here for you every step of the way: to make announcements, coordinate, and organize your wedding for you. Not only do you deserve a beautiful wedding, but you also deserve an overall amazing experience.

Our Style

Our DJ’s are west coast DJ’s so they tend to have a high energy, keep the party going, are interactive and have a highly engaged style of DJ’ing. An interactive DJ not only plays music but also engages with the crowd. They bring a lively and interactive element to the wedding reception, ensuring everyone has a great time. However, styles are not mutually exclusive. We are able to incorporate elements from different styles to suit your preferences. Our meeting is quite lengthy for a reason. It is important that we fully understand your vision and musical preferences and ultimate design for your special day.

Our Process

Once your lock in your date (sign the contract & pay the deposit), we send over a questionnaire to get details on your vision and welcome book. A Few days later, you will receive our wedding planner which is the key to working with us. From there, we work in 3 Phases which are as follows:

Phase 1 – Development: Researching & Securing

You just booked & here is what you can expect during this phase:

1. Welcome – Our welcome guide is sent out
2. Gathering information 
3. Getting to know our couple – questionnaire & music survey

Be on the lookout – 3 days after booking you will get our wedding planner. 

This is your guide from beginning to end for your wedding day that we will go over in Phase 2, our final details meeting.   

During this time we will be sending you some resources.

As you’re gathering wedding information, building your wedding vendor team and putting together your big day, we want to send all the resources to help make it as easy as possible for you.  We also want to get to know you/your vibe & you get to know more about us.  

During this time you can be thinking about your must play list & your do not play list and working on the wedding planner we sent.

Phase 2 – Logistics

It is 2-4 weeks before your wedding & here is what you can expect during this phase:

1. Meeting to go over your wedding planner & all the final details from all that you have put together.  This typically lasts an hour and is very detailed.  We discuss everything from the pre ceremony through the end of reception.  During this meeting, we also go over all cues, tips, suggestions and see how we can help make it special for the 2 of you.  
2. Music boundaries are set 
3. Timeline Creation & Approval

Phase 3 – Execution

It is wedding week & here is what you can expect during this phase:

1. Our team will be working hard behind the scenes to prep for your big day – preparing the equipment that is needed, downloading music specific to those on your planner and much more
2. All the final details – the best way to communicate the week of the wedding & get a hold of us, what to expect for when we arrive, & more.
